Corcomroe Abbey, County Clare

Corcomroe Abbey is an early 13th century Cistercian Monastery in County Clare that was immortalised in W.B. Yeats' play “The Dreaming of Bones” and was just one of many places we visited during our time in County Clare in April.

My personal highlights were the Cliffs Of Moher at sunset, a visit to Hazel Mountain Chocolate (Yum) and the descent from Caherdoonerish Stone Fort to Black Head Lighthouse on a walk from our AirBnB to the coast. Just wonderful and we definitely hope to return..

This is my favourite photo from the trip ❤️
