Muckish Mountain in County Donegal

 

I've trodden its paths,

I've reached its crest,

Then gazed on the world beneath, 

And felt no king could be more blest 

Than I on its fragrant heath,

For I reigned alone in a magic land

With beauty in every sod,

Mid a hundred joys on ev' ry hand

Strewn there by the Hand of God..
